By accessing and using the BAR ME App (“App”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. This Disclaimer forms part of the Terms of Use and governs your use of the App.
1. Pricing Information
The pricing of alcoholic beverages displayed on the App is subject to change at any time and may not always reflect the most current or accurate pricing. BAR ME Pty Ltd (“Company”) makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of pricing information; however, the Company does not warrant or guarantee that all prices are up to date or free from error.
Under the ‘Spirits’ category, prices depicted for a standard “shot” may not include the cost of a mixer. It is at the Vendor’s discretion to add an additional price for mixers associated with their ‘Spirits’ listings.
2. Venue Imagery
The Company reserves the right to add images of venues belonging to both registered and non-registered Vendors, provided such images are publicly available and hosted within the public domain (e.g., social media platforms, official websites, or Google Images).
These images are used solely for representational and promotional purposes within the App and the Company does not financially benefit from their display. The inclusion of such imagery constitutes free exposure and promotion for the venues on an industry-related digital platform, providing added visibility to potential customers. This exposure is designed to highlight local venues and foster community engagement within the hospitality sector. As such, Vendors are encouraged to endorse and support this representation, as it offers genuine marketing value without additional cost.
3. Third-Party Links and Content
The App may contain links to third-party websites or display content sourced from external Vendors or platforms. The Company does not operate or control these third-party sites and assumes no responsibility for their content, practices, or accuracy.
4. Legal Compliance
BAR ME Pty Ltd is an Australian-registered company operating under the laws of Western Australia. The Company complies with all relevant Western Australian legislation and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). Users and Vendors agree to operate within the framework of these legal obligations while using the App.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage resulting from:
- Reliance on any information provided on the App;
- Errors or inaccuracies in drink pricing;
- Third-party conduct or services;
- User interactions with Vendors.
6. Updates to Disclaimer
The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Disclaimer at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
